The LBC Lab investigates how the human brain comprehends and produces language, using EEG/ERP and eye-movement tracking to observe cognition as it unfolds in real time.

Yunju Nam graduated from Seoul National University with double majors in German Language & Literature and Economics. She worked as a research professor at Konkuk University, funded by the National Research Foundation of Korea, and from 2018 served as an assistant professor (KU research professor) at Konkuk University, contributing to the Brain Cognition Research Center as a Vice Investigator.

She is actively involved in several academic societies, including the Linguistic Society of Korea (LSK), the Applied Linguistics Association of Korea (ALAK), the Korean Society for Language and Information (KSLI), and the Korean Society for EEG and Neurophysiology, where she serves as a director.

Her recent research focuses on pragmatic processing in L1 and L2 learners from a neural perspective.
